For all dog lovers, any movie immediately becomes more interesting when a doggo is involved. Just like in real life, they manage to capture the spotlight. Let's be honest, if there is a pup involved in a film, they are immediately the lead actor and the star. So we decided to list our 5 favorite Dog Movie Stars. How many of these movies are you familiar with?

 

Honorable Mention - Buddy

 

Air Bud

The dog in the Air Bud movie is a Golden Retriever named Buddy. The Air Bud franchise began with the 1997 movie "Air Bud," which follows the story of Buddy, a stray dog with a natural talent for basketball. After being adopted by a young boy named Josh, Buddy joins his basketball team and becomes their star player.
