A Sunday to Remember for Dogs & Their Humans
On May 18th, DogPack hosted its very first in-person community event in collaboration with ATD Clubhouse. The result? A joyful, tail-wagging success that brought together over 100 dogs and their owners under one roof in the heart of Montreal.
From the moment the doors opened, the atmosphere was electric. Some pups were eager to explore, others chose a cozy bench to relax and observe, but all had one thing in common: they were surrounded by fellow furry friends, humans who love them, and a community built just for them.
The Energy Was Pure Dog-Lover Magic
If you’ve ever been to a park full of playful dogs and friendly owners, imagine that, but inside a stylish, thoughtfully designed venue. ATD Clubhouse felt more like a boutique experience than a dog event, with clean lines, modern décor, and a layout built for both comfort and movement.
DogPack’s team welcomed guests, while the ATD crew handled grooming, cleanups, and making sure every pup was happy, safe, and clean (yes, a few surprise puddles were handled swiftly). Free nail trims and baths ran all afternoon in one of the private rooms—always a hit with pet parents.
Dog Cocktails? Yes, Really.
One of the most surprising and memorable parts of the day was the dog-themed open bar, complete with original cocktail names like:
- 🥇 The Good Girl Spritz (most popular by far)
- 🐾 The Pupparazzi
- 🥃 The Bark and Bite (a bold whiskey-based option)
DogPack CEO Jonathan Punski even jumped behind the bar himself, serving drinks and chatting with guests. It was a fun, relaxed, and unexpected way to show that DogPack is more than an app, it’s a community.

- A happy chaos of Samoyeds, Frenchies, Chihuahuas, Shibas, Corgis, Aussies, and more mingling like it was the best playdate of the year

- Earth Rated tote bags swinging from shoulders as dogs sniffed out their favorite treats
- An Aussie Shepherd transfixed during a training demo, waiting for the cue to shine
- A Corgi absolutely living their best life while getting pets from the DogPack crew
- Local brands like Healthybud, Earth Rated, and Crafty Beasts Brewing Co. on site to show off their goods and meet fellow dog lovers
Everyone seemed to have that one moment: a new friend met, a perfect photo captured, a dog’s zoomies catching an entire room’s attention. And that’s what made it special.

DogPack has always been about helping people discover dog-friendly places and connect with others who share the same love for dogs. But this event proved something bigger: our mission translates beautifully to real life.
For many attendees, this was more than an event, it was their dog’s first social experience, or their first time connecting with other dog owners in person. The laughter, the shared stories, and the collective love for dogs created something that no app or social feed alone could ever replicate.
