This month, some of the DogPack team had the incredible opportunity to attend SuperZoo in Las Vegas – the largest and most influential pet industry trade show in North America. For years, I’ve heard about this event, seen the photos, and listened to people in the pet space talk about it as the place to be. Finally stepping onto the show floor this year was nothing short of surreal.
To give you a sense of scale, SuperZoo isn’t just big. It’s massive. Over 1,200 pet product sellers filled a space the size of six football fields, showcasing everything from innovative pet tech to new treats, toys, and accessories. It’s the kind of event where every step introduces you to a new idea, a new brand, or a new opportunity.
I wasn’t alone either. Dividing and conquering the floor with Jonathan, Dov, and Zaiaad made the experience even more special. Together, we spent three days meeting hundreds upon hundreds of sellers. The conversations were non-stop, the energy was infectious, and the interest we generated for the DogPack Marketplace was overwhelming. Each connection wasn’t just about showcasing DogPack – it was about listening, learning, and understanding where we can provide value to sellers all around the world.
But among all the incredible moments, one stood out above the rest. I met a seller who had traveled all the way from South Korea to attend SuperZoo. During our conversation, he pulled out his phone, and there it was: the DogPack app, already downloaded. That moment hit differently. We’ve always known DogPack has a global reach, but meeting someone from halfway across the world who was already a user made it real. It wasn’t just data on a dashboard; it was human.
That’s the power of being face to face. The energy of the conversations, the excitement in people’s reactions, the thoughtful pushbacks, and the genuine curiosity. These interactions give us fuel. They make what we’re building more tangible than ever. DogPack isn’t just an app, a map, or a marketplace. It’s a community that stretches across borders, cultures, and languages.
Leaving Las Vegas, I felt more energized than ever about what’s ahead. We’re building something big, and experiences like SuperZoo remind us why we’re doing it. I’m grateful for every conversation we had, for the chance to share DogPack with so many passionate people, and for the milestones that continue to make this journey unforgettable.
This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to share what’s next.
