About This Park
Humber Bay Park West Dog Park, located at 2225 Lake Shore Blvd W in Etobicoke, is a fantastic destination for dog owners looking for a safe and welcoming space for their furry friends. This fully fenced, off-leash park features a spacious area where dogs can roam freely, enjoy shaded spots for relaxation, and splash in the designated swimming areas. With free entry and dog-friendly trails, it's an ideal location for an afternoon outing—your pup can also bring their favorite toys along for extra fun. While the park is well-loved, it's important to note that some users have reported issues, such as a gap in the fence where medium-sized dogs could escape, so keep a close eye on your pets while they’re having a blast. While Humber Bay Park West boasts several amenities, such as a seating area and plenty of wildlife, it does lack certain facilities that may be useful, like a water fountain or waste disposal bags. Additionally, the park doesn't have any big or small dog separation, which could be a concern for those with smaller breeds. With some recent reviews highlighting health issues experienced by dogs after park visits, it's wise to watch your pup's health closely after their time in the park. This park is set against the stunning backdrop of Lake Ontario and is part of a larger Humber Bay Park complex, which has a rich history linked to the city’s waterfront development. It’s a serene spot where you and your dog can enjoy the great outdoors while taking in beautiful views and the local flora and fauna. Just make sure to keep an eye out for any potential hazards while enjoying your day!

Park is really nice however I just starting taking my pup there and within a week she has gotten so sick…vomiting, bloody diarrhea and some expensive vet visits one in which she had to stay all day to be observed and given antibiotics and IV fluids. She’s fully vaccinated and a year and 5 months old. She’s never been sick before. It’s been almost a week and she’s still sick.
Great fenced in park (bordered by the water), however there is a hole in the fence where a medium sized dog could squeeze through. Overall a great park except for the single gap in the fence.
