My favorite of the public parks. Almost always, good dog (owners) with their dogs.
We were recommended this park by someone and we saw it highly rated on this app and thought we'd give it a try since we aren't too far away from it. We won't be back though. While the grounds are beautiful and clean, we didn't feel very welcomed and felt uncomfortable. My puppy is a small breed, 1yo, and in the small enclosure, but everyone, including those who had dogs in similar size to ours, still went over into the Large enclosure, I guess where they felt more "comfortable" with people who looked like them. My poor pup just sat there by himself at the gate watching and wagging his tail. People just didn't seem all that warm towards us despite my smiling and saying hello. It just felt off. Needless to say we'll be looking for a more diverse dog park where owners also look like me. It's a shame that WE make others feel welcome in our spaces yet when we're in theirs we're treated not so welcoming.
